Demons were first mentioned in the works of a Greek philosopher Plato around 2,400 years ago. They were simply another supernatural beings to the Greeks. Later, when the Christianity spread throughout Europe, negativity became associated with the word. Therefore demon tattoos have many negative connotations associated with them. There are other popular interpretations too. One says that demon tattoos represent the struggle between the good and the evil while for others, demons tattoos are simply a way to show their won mischievous nature. Demon tattoos usually don’t employ many colours – black and red are the favourites.
